Seasonal Cheer

It would appear one of my local neighbours is somewhat cool on Yule.

And yet they bothered to erect their sign. Active resistance to the festy season simply reinforces its supremacy. If they really want it to go away, they should just ignore it, and make the most of the cheap remaindered fruit mince pies comes January.

I think I agree with you, Ms Bazza. Protesting too much. dont know if you can see, but there's little night lights on it as well.

Me, Im resuming an appreciation left dormant about 28 years ago, through the eyes of a 4 yo - and the tone is nothing less than tremendous excitement.

I rather like it. Although it would be wasted at my place since we don't have any neighbours close enough to see.

I wonder if the sign will change (like the fictional Ebenezer) on Xmas morn?

Will report back on that, Dave. I can tell you last night it flashes - alternating Bah / Humbug, then Bah Humbug!

Oh COOOL.
I think I want one. Thanks for that.
Actually it was quite a nice day, really. Families are just too freaking big, that's all.

Mine's small, Gen, but makes up for it by being intensely conflict-oriented - seasonal gripes, yelling on the tree, same as last year!

I'm trying to create a new Xmas culture with Ms LE and my little one.
